 Staff Spotlight – Mr. Jai Ringer

I want to take a moment to recognize one of our outstanding team members, Mr. Jai Ringer. Mr. Ringer is an incredible employee for Wishram School. He serves as a paraeducator for our youngest students, drives bus, works in our afterschool REACH program, and also steps in as our backup custodian whenever Mr. Montoya needs a day off.

Jai is always on the job—rarely taking a day off and consistently showing up on time, not just to start his day, but for every assignment he takes on throughout it. He is always willing to step in, help problem solve, and support wherever needed—whether that’s working with students or helping address mechanical or operational issues around the school.

This past week, due to unforeseen circumstances, Wishram School was very short-staffed across several areas, including paraeducators, bus drivers, and REACH staff. On both Monday and Tuesday, Mr. Ringer stepped up in a big way—starting his day at 6:45 AM, driving the morning bus route and finishing his day at 6:00 PM after driving the REACH bus route.

Hats off to you, Mr. Ringer. Wishram School is a better place because you are part of our team.

 A Week of Strong Engagement and Continued Momentum

This past week at Wishram School continued to build on the strong momentum we’ve seen this spring. From engaging REACH activities and Lip Sync preparations to track practices and competitions, our students have remained active and involved both in and out of the classroom. It’s great to see students continuing to stay engaged, and we appreciate the efforts of our staff in providing these opportunities.
