📘 Wishram School – Week in Review & Next Week’s Schedule
October 6 – October 11, 2025

Week in Review
This past week brought continued learning, community, and competition for Wishram students. From launching our new Native American Language Program to field trips, athletic events, and important district collaborations, our students and staff continue to make us proud.

Monday, September 29 – We celebrated birthdays for Delores Gomez-Jamie and Ken Weaver. Our school therapist was on site, and Mr. Churchwell attended the REC Meeting at 10:00 AM. MS Football hosted Ione/Arlington at 4:00 PM, followed by MS Volleyball hosting Sherman at 5:00 PM. They did not pull out victories, but they had a lot of fun. 

Tuesday, September 30 – The therapist was on site, and Mr. Churchwell attended the REC Meeting at 10:00 AM. ASB officers and Mr. Cooper participated in an all-day training in Vancouver. HS Volleyball traveled to Bickleton for a 5:00 PM game and came home with the Win. 

Wednesday, October 1 – We officially launched Wishram’s new Native American Language Program. MS Volleyball hosted Dufur at 5:00 PM. They did not pull out a victory, but they played very well. 

Thursday, October 2 – Happy Birthday to Mykia Tahkeal-Whitford! The WAGAP Food Truck was on campus from 9:00–11:00 AM. Clark College held a Virtual Presentation for all Wishram HS Students who wanted to attend. HS Volleyball hosted Horizon Christian at 5:00 PM and brought home the W. 

Friday, October 3 – HS Football is traveling to Elgin for a 3:00 PM kickoff. HS Volleyball travels to Sherman County for a 5:00 PM game

Saturday, October 4 – HS Volleyball will host Spray/Mitchell/Wheeler. 12:00 PM Start Time.

🏐 MS Volleyball hosts Condon – 5:00 PM

  🎉 Spotlight Event – STEAM Night!
Come join us this Wednesday, October 8th from 4–6 PM in the Wishram School Gym for our family STEAM Night! Students and families can explore fun hands-on activities in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math, plus enjoy a hamburger dinner together. This event is funded by our Local Levy and supported by REACH—don’t miss out on the fun!
