    Hello Wishram Families, 

     

    My name is Carisa Huva-Bellamy. I  have lived in Klickitat County for the majority of my life, growing up in Goldendale, Washington. I went to school at Eastern Oregon University and graduated with a degree in Elementary Education. I then came “home” to teach in The Dalles, Oregon.

     

    I have been a Reading Specialist and Special Education teacher and now am enjoying teaching Kindergarten and First Grades. My summers have been filled with teaching opportunities with the Migrant Education, Kindergarten Jumpstart and now REACH programs.

     

    When not at school I enjoy reading, cooking, kayaking, and spending time with my husband and goldendoodle! 

     

     

    It has been a joy to return to my home county. Wishram has been a great place to meet new faces and catch up with people from the past. I am blessed to get to work here!
