I was born in Portland, Oregon, and then moved to Northern California when I was just 3 years old. I grew up in Northern California until 5th grade, when I moved to Orting, Washington. I grew up in Orting for the rest of my childhood and my family still lives there. When I graduated from high school in 2016, I went to Central Washington University and I got my Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics with a STEM Teaching Certificate. I graduated from Central Washington in June 2020.
For the past 5 summers, I have worked at Camp Tadmor in Lebanon, Oregon. This is a very special place for me. I went there as a camper when I was growing up, and then I started working there during the summers when I graduated from high school. The first 2 summers when I was on staff there, I was on the Service and Leadership Training Team. During my third and fourth summers, I was on the Counseling Team at Camp Tadmor. I absolutely loved it!
I found the Wishram School District from one of my friends who is a high school math teacher. She met the former math teacher from Wishram at a training session she went to. My friend told me about Wishram when I was looking for schools to teach at, and I immediately fell in love with the Wishram School District. I feel so blessed to be the new math teacher here and I plan on staying here for a very long time.
If you have any questions for me, please feel free to contact me. I look forward to working with all of our Wishram students!
